Today was our original whale watching day. So we avoided an early rising, and cloudy skies. But it all cleared up in the afternoon, & we treated to another gorgeous sunny day as we toured down the wide flat valley of Eyjafjörður, ringed around with high peaks. Warm out of the wind. Well - we had better make the most of it - forecast is fine for Saturday, but wet for the following 3 days. We are all set to make the Kjolur route crossing on Sunday & Monday - it was too much to ask for this to keep going.
